Meet the hypnotist
As a professional stage hypnotist, Chris Gilbert thrills audiences with his contagious charisma and approachable presence. Chris is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), the world's most prestigious organization for hypnotists, and received training at the Hickland Hypnosis Training Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As a college instructor, Chris has used hypnosis to help students deliver confident presentations. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and a Master's Degree in Communicology from the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa where he studied persuasion, deception detection, and influence. Chris is also frequently requested by groups to lecture on memory improvement and communication skills. In 2014 Leeward Community College named Chris the recipient of their coveted Outstanding Lecturer Award.
